LIZ KRUSE

Liz Kruse, M.A., has worked in higher education since 2010 in various roles including International Education, Alumni Relations, and Continuing and Workforce Education. Liz currently works at Clarke University in Dubuque, Iowa, as the Director of the Institute for Professional Excellence, and oversees the university's CareerPLUS program. Previously, Liz worked at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville and Loras College. Liz earned her Bachelor's degrees in English Literature, Spanish, and International Studies from Loras College and a Master's degree in Comparative and International Development Education from the University of Minnesota. Liz's study abroad experience in Santiago de Compostela, Spain, and her year on a Fulbright grant living in Madrid, Spain, continue to fuel Liz's passion for international education and exchange. Liz has previously served on the leadership team of the Wisconsin Association of International Educators (WAIE) and currently serves on Clarke University's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee and the Community Foundation of Greater Dubuque's Employer Inclusion Council. When not working, Liz enjoys reading, running, playing piano, and spending time with her husband and three young children.
